Last month, we mentioned that we would be featured in March’s issue of Prog Magazine. We now have an image of the page in which we’re featured!
ACE fans, we need your help:
Prog Magazine, the world’s leading progressive music mag, is featuring “Arsonist Games” on a CD compilation to be included with its March 2013 issue (available March 6).
This is a HUGE honor for us. The Aaron Clift Experiment was selected from hundreds of entrants to be featured on this compilation. But the potential for great exposure doesn’t end here:
From now until March 31, all tracks from the CD will be featured on a media player on Prog Magazine’s web site, and listeners will be asked to vote for their favorite track. The band that wins the contest will be the subject of a full-page feature in a later edition of Prog Magazine.
We need your help in getting The Aaron Clift Experiment voted as the top band!
Here’s what you can do:
- Click the picture below to vote for us in the online poll.
- Tell everyone you know and ask them to vote for The Aaron Clift Experiment on Prog Magazine’s web site.
On 03/02/13, Aaron was interviewed by Tony Romero on Aii Radio. In the interview, Aaron discussed Lonely Hills. Check out the recording of the interview below:

Today, a chapter of The Aaron Clift Experiment has ended and a new chapter begins. Jim Ragland has decided to leave the band to pursue a new musical direction. We wish Jim the best of luck with his solo career and thank him for the excellent guitar work he’s done with the band.
Jim left some big shoes to fill, but the great news is that our new guitarist is more than up to the task. Introducing Danny Brymer:
When we auditioned Danny, we knew right away he was the man for the job. Danny brings a wealth of experience performing progressive rock, jazz, and classical music. Besides his versatility, Danny is a monster on guitar and a great composer.
In the coming months, you’ll get to see just how much Danny lives up to the hype as we resume our live shows and begin to write, record, and perform new songs.
Prog Magazine, the world’s leading progressive music mag, will be featuring “Arsonist Games” on a CD compilation to be included with its March 2013 issue (available March 6).
This limited-edition compilation album (only available to subscribers of the magazine) will feature 10 tracks from some of the finest unsigned progressive bands in the world. Non-subscribers will still have a chance to read about the bands featured on the CD compilation in the unsigned bands feature in the magazine.
From March 1 – 31, all tracks from the CD will be featured on a media player on Prog Magazine’s web site, and listeners will be asked to vote for their favorite track. The band that wins the contest will be the subject of a full-page feature in a later edition of Prog Magazine.
In a few weeks, we’ll be posting some images from our feature in Prog Magazine and will give you all the information you need on how to vote for “Arsonist Games.” Stay tuned!
Hello, ACE fans. As we begin the new year, I want to take a look back at all the great things that happened in 2012 and give you an update on where The Aaron Clift Experiment is going in 2013.
2012 was a very exciting year for the band. The year saw the release of our critically-acclaimed debut album, Lonely Hills, our first live performances, and numerous public appearances and interviews. Sometimes it’s hard for me to believe that this time last year, our debut album and shows were still just a plan in my head!
Speaking of plans, this month, I’m beginning to write a new set of songs that I eventually hope to put on our second album. Once the band has had a chance to arrange and rehearse the songs, we want to start playing them in our live shows this year. As I have more updates for you on the progress of the songs, I will add those updates to a new section of the web site dedicated to our new material.
Happy 2013, and we’ll see you around soon!
